Civilizations, Empires and Colonialism 6-12 Online Module

The following professional learning module cultivates an expansive view of global civilizations, empires and colonialism through an examination of historical consequences and cultural interactions of empires and colonialism and indigenous resistance movements within colonial contexts. This self-paced, asynchronous learning experience can be used to support comparing, contrasting and reconstructing historical narratives for social science learning in grades 6-12.
