Civic Engagement and Citizenship 6-12 Online Module

The following professional learning module explores the rights and responsibilities of citizens, youth advocacy and justice, and the impact of civic engagement on local, national and global societies—especially as it relates to underrepresented groups. Aligned with Oregon’s 2024 Social Science Standards, this self-paced, asynchronous learning experience also covers inquiry-based learning, document analysis and argument construction for social science learning in grades 6-12. The resource is associated with the Collaborative Learning Guide – Civic Engagement and Citizenship 6-12.
